We are looking for a passionate and detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional products and services to our customers. In this role you will ensure our processes and products meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Quality Management System
o Compile and maintain manuals and documentation for the Company’s regulatory approvals, including the maintenance of Quality Plans in line with the QMS structure.
o Support creation, processing, approval, verification, and publishing of QMS documentation.
o Review regulatory and customer requirements and incorporate them into the QMS.
o Engage, support, and lead external audits by customers and regulators.
o Coordinate timely responses to customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
o Lead the creation, processing, approval, verification, and closure of Corrective Actions.
o Ensure timely updates to business‑management IT systems for inventory assignment and release requirements.
* Authorisation Control
o Manage and support stamp authorisation applications and on‑the‑job training to maintain compliant personnel competency.
o Conduct independent investigations into Human Factors, Quality Alerts, Corrective Actions, Notice of Escape, and Red card as required.
* Improvement
o Represent the Quality function at Value Stream Daily Management Meetings, taking ownership and responsibility of assigned actions.
o Escalate non‑compliance and ageing issue resolution to Quality Leadership.
o Support the development and maintenance of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and provide regular reports for strategic review.
o Develop and deliver awareness and training sessions to support ongoing business operations or specific regulatory requirements.
* Audit
o Conduct internal audits for Systems, Products, and Processes across the site.
o Monitor and mentor employees on FOD, ESD, Calibration and SMS awareness.
Minimum Requirements
* Strong experience in quality engineering within a highly regulated manufacturing sector.
* Detailed knowledge of aviation regulations and standards from CAA, EASA, FAA, and CAAC.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting timelines and contributing to team goals.
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to energise teams and create an inclusive environment.
* Excellent detail orientation with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Motivated, flexible and determined, with a focus on external impact such as safety management systems and human factors.
* Competent IT skills, including use of operational business‑management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Characteristics
* Experience in aviation manufacturing or MRO environment.
* Experience in production/maintenance quality and/or quality assurance.
* Knowledge of AS Standards and the CAA/EASA requirements.
* Experience with certified product release processes.
* Degree or HNC/HND in an aerospace‑related subject.

Security Clearance
