Role Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team.
This is a commission-based sales role designed for individuals who want to build their own client portfolio and benefit directly from their performance.
This role is ideal for entrepreneurial individuals who are confident in sales, driven by results, and looking to grow within the logistics industry. While this is not a fixed salaried position to start, we offer the opportunity to discuss a high fixed salary and permanent contract after a proven track record.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business sales through lead generation, outreach, and conversion
* Source, build, and maintain relationships with clients across industries (industry-specific data provided)
* Negotiate competitive rates with shippers and carriers
* Manage accounts, oversee shipments, and ensure timely deliveries
* Maintain proactive, solution-oriented communication with all stakeholders
* Build, track, and grow your own portfolio of recurring clients
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction

* Highly organised and proactive in managing accounts
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
* Previous experience in freight, logistics, or brokerage (preferred but not mandatory)
* Customer-first attitude and a genuine desire to solve client problems
Qualifications
* Familiarity in B2B sales, account management, logistics and customer service (preferred)
* Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
