The awesome extras!25 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysIndustry Leading Pension & Life Insurance5% BonusOn-call allowanceOvertime x 1.5 Overnight allowanceSenior Authorised Person allowanceShared works vehicle for travel to and from site What you’ll do:Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements.Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain.Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment. Who are you?Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work.Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.Enthusiastic about green energy. What skills do you need?You’ll be a skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience, having worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical.Previous experience on wind farms is beneficial, but not essential.
