Working hours are between 6.45am-15.00 Monday to Friday,
This position is for a food service assistant on a bank contract.
Main duties of the job
Duties include the food preparation, food service, hospitality cleaning of premises/equipment and vending around the hospital.
Service areas are the staff restaurant, dish wash section, hospitality, retail and vending.
You will take part of a team preparing breakfast, sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
You will help maintain a clean and hygienic food prep environment in line with the high standards of cleanliness. Completing all relevant paperwork.

Essential criteria
1. Good level of education, and ability to speak, read and write basic English.
2. Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
3. CGLI 706 1& 2 or NVQ equivalent.
Desirable criteria
4. Level 3 Food Safety qualification
5. Manual handling qualification.
6. NVQ in Customer Care or Hospitality
Knowledge
Essential criteria
7. Sound understanding of Food Hygiene methods and procedures as well as Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
8. Understanding of manual handling techniques.
