What you will be doing
As a qualified Physical Health Nurse, you will lead and coordinate all aspects of the physical health needs of service users, support colleagues, and promote teamwork with multidisciplinary teams such as GPs and other physical health departments.
You will monitor observations and assessments to identify and document necessary actions.
As a Physical Healthcare Nurse, you will be:
* Adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct and ensuring compliance with local, Trust, and national standards.
* Developing and supporting physical health interventions based on current evidence-based practice.
* Participating in practice development, evaluation, and audit activities related to physical healthcare to promote evidence-based practice.
* Collaborating with primary health services, developing links with GP practices and other physical health departments.
* Monitoring and maintaining Physical Health Dashboards.

Where you will be working:
The Woodmill is an 18-bed rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs. The service provides a pathway for patients to step down through recovery, with areas like Ivy (6 beds) and Rose (12 beds), including flexible sections to support patients progressing towards discharge.
The aim is to support women in improving self-worth, quality of life, and independence.
