Role Summary
Client Technical Managers – Delegated Risk Solutions form part of our specialist Delegated Authority team.
Role Accountabilities
* Producing Binding Authority contracts, associated Reinsurance contracts and Endorsements or other required documentation which are compliant with current London Market guidelines.
* Using internal and external tools to ensure that documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, taxes, etc, for that jurisdiction.
* Ensuring that documents are peer reviewed before being sent to markets and clients.
* Liaise with Brokers and Client Services Executives on a daily basis to ensure that client instructions are adequately actioned.
* Liaise with clients and insurers where required in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitoring renewals and assisting brokers with ensuring that these are invited and completed in good time.
* Full monitoring of risks (new and renewal) through their life cycle to file closure.
* Inputting and updating policies on in-house and external systems in an accurate and timely manner.
* Maintaining the company’s electronic filing system in a timely and accurate manner.
* Adherence to the company’s procedures relating to subjectivity tracking to ensure that these are actioned in good time.
* Assist Client Services Executives and IBA with resolving any issues relating to payments to the markets or from clients.
* Using PPL to bind orders or endorsements as required by your team.
* Management of in-house schemes where required, ensuring bordereaux are up to date and all data recorded is accurate.
* Carrying out reviews to ensure the quality of both personal outputs and those of the wider team.
* Provide any necessary ad hoc support to the Team Lead and other team members as needed.
* Providing and undertaking training as required by your line manager.
* Any additional duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
* Experience working in Delegated Underwriting Authority within the London Insurance Market
* Experience with Binding Authority documents and processes
* At least 5 A-C Grade GCSE (or equivalent) including English and Maths
* Insurance qualifications, e.g. CII (preferred)
* Knowledge of London Market processes and terminology
* Previous data entry and reconciliation experience

* High computer literacy and intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Ability to multi-task, manage conflicting priorities and work well under pressure.
* Able to build trust by operating with integrity and professionalism.
* Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work.
* Self-motivated.
* Team worker with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Solid data entry skills with the ability to identify numerical errors.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Excellent attention to detail.
