As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage reading, writing, and confident self-expression. You will support students in developing analytical thinking and a genuine appreciation for language in both written and spoken forms. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum. Support students in developing literacy, comprehension, and writing skills. Encourage discussion, creativity, and critical thinking. Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom. Requirements: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant experience as an English Teacher. Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering engaging lessons. Effective classroom management and clear communication skills. A professional and reflective approach to teaching and safeguarding. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
