ABOUT THE ROLE
AVK UK are currently seeking a proactive and organised Project Co-Ordinator in Kilmarnock to join our Sales and Project department. This is a key position within our business, acting as the main point of contact for our UK customers, providing quotations, processing orders, and supporting ongoing projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Process customer orders and raise purchase orders for project-related items
* Prepare quotations and technical documentation for customer projects
* Advise customers on pricing, lead times, delivery dates, and product suitability
* Liaise with suppliers and technical support to ensure customer requirements are met
* Assist with customer complaints and raise discrepancy forms as required
* Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products
* Support Key Account Managers and Market Sector Managers with project delivery
* Conduct proactive sales calls to enhance orders and customer engagement
* Use internal systems to raise quotes, place orders, and confirm purchase orders
SKILLS
* Previous experience in a sales support, project coordination, or customer service role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Technical aptitude or willingness to learn about our product range
* Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
* Confident working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
* IT literate with experience using order processing or CRM systems
DESIRABLE
* Experience working within a technical or manufacturing environment
