Service Care Solutions is supporting a Drug and Alcohol service in Merseyside. They have a requirement for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to deliver high standards of nursing care for the treatment and support of substance dependency. The role involves providing high-quality clinical assessments and treatments to clients in a residential setting, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key roles and responsibilities for a Registered Mental Health Nurse
1. Support drug and alcohol users with complex needs as part of a 12-step programme
2. Liaise with other professionals and members of the wider multidisciplinary treatment team
3. Provide interventions
4. Promote health and well-being of clients and maintain a safe, caring therapeutic environment
5. Undertake initial health assessments on admission, including mental health and substance misuse history
Minimum requirements for a Registered Mental Health Nurse
1. Nurse Qualification – RMN with UK registration
2. Ability to work with the 12-step recovery model
3. Awareness of health issues related to Substance Misuse
4. Experience of key working and care planning
Pay rates:
* £29.78 PAYE per hour - exclusive of holiday pay
* £33.38 PAYE per hour - inclusive of holiday pay
* £38 Umbrella rate per hour
