We are currently seeking Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll delivery for our client. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth payroll operations during the implementation of Sage Payroll, working closely with the wider payroll team.
The ideal candidate will have experience within fast‑paced environment, with strong attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive data.
Pay
* Pay rate: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour
* Monday – Friday
* 6‑Month Assignment

Key responsibilities for a Payroll Clerk
* Support the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll.
* Maintain high data accuracy and ensure full compliance with payroll processes and regulations.
* Handle payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
* Provide ad hoc administrative and payroll‑related support to ensure smooth team operations.
* Contribute to maintaining secure and well‑organised payroll records.
What we’re looking for in a Payroll Clerk
* Previous payroll experience
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, accuracy, and confidentiality.
* Familiarity with payroll software – experience with Sage is highly advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
* Confident with data entry and administrative tasks.
