Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs, helping them to overcome barriers to education and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver effective learning strategies.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
* Promote independence, confidence, and personal development.
* Track student progress and contribute to regular reviews and reports.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting is essential.
* A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN, learning support, or youth work are advantageous.
To work with GSL Education as a Learning Support Worker, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
