About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN General Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream infant school in East Molesey. This role involves teaching a small class of 5–6 pupils with a range of special educational needs, providing tailored and engaging lessons to support their individual development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a variety of SEN needs
* Teach and support pupils across Reception to Year 2 curriculum levels
* Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and track student progress, adapting approaches where necessary
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements:
* Essential: Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN
* Experience across Reception to Year 2 (EYFS/KS1)
* Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
* Patient, proactive, and engaging teaching style
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* QTS Required
