Are you a skilled and passionate GCSE tutor with expertise in any subject? We are looking for dedicated GCSE Tutors to join our team in Swindon, offering tailored, one-on-one tuition to help students excel in their exams.
Position: GCSE Tutor
Location: Swindon
Hours: Flexible (Full-time or Part-time)
Rate of Pay: £20–£30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring for GCSE students in your specialist subject(s).
* Tailor lesson plans and schemes of work to suit individual student needs, ensuring they are prepared for their specific exam boards.
* Assess student progress, identify areas of strength and weakness, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support students in reaching their academic potential.
* Help students develop study skills, exam techniques, and boost their confidence leading up to their exams.
* Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
About You:
* You are a qualified tutor with experience teaching GCSE-level students.
* You can tailor lessons to suit different exam boards (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, OCR).
* You have the ability to assess and plan effectively, ensuring that every student receives personalised support.
* You are patient, encouraging, and able to foster a positive learning environment.
* You have a good understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements for your subject(s).
* Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, but we welcome applications from subject specialists who are passionate about teaching.
