We have an opportunity available to join our Format and Development Team as a field-based Format & Development Merchandiser. You will be responsible for project managing and delivering the new store and refit program for Budgens, Londis, and Premier in the south and parts of the Midlands. This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week over 5 days.
Role Details
This is a regional role predominantly covering the south and Midlands, and due to the nature of the role, travel is required. Location of applicants is flexible. More details about this can be discussed at interview.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organising and attending site meetings at stores with Retail Development Managers (RDM), shop fitters, and signage companies to discuss scope of works and brand expectations.
2. Taking ownership and being the point of contact for the project, liaising between the retailer, RDM, shop fitter, and signage company.
3. Articulating layout changes that might be required before or during the project to ensure the merchandising team has a fully accurate plan.
4. Working alongside RDMs, Planners, and Merchandisers to ensure stores follow brand guidelines and launch successfully.
5. Managing shopfitters on site to ensure specifications are followed and resolving any issues that arise.
6. Reviewing and ordering equipment based on brand and site requirements.
7. Ensuring imagery and POS are fit for purpose and within current promotions/brand guidelines.
