Equans is looking for an Account Manager to join our team covering sites in Dudley and Bristol. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

TheAccount Manager will lead an operational team across 3 contracts in the Central and South West region, ensuring we deliver the required contract standards, with an engaged and focused team, developing strong professional relationships with both client and internal stakeholders, and achieving financial and SHEQ targets.

The role will have a significant impact on operation of a variety of public facing buildings, with an emphasis on high standards to enhance the Equans brand.

What will you deliver?

1. Ensure high quality service delivery across the range of services provided by Equans by applying professional expertise and management control
2. Ensure financial performance is achieved on the contract to meet agreed targets for turnover, profit and cash collection
3. Ensure a sound commercial understanding of the contractual deliverables across the contract and provide leadership to the site team
4. Work with the senior management team and Client to develop and agree strategies that meet the service provision demands, in line with the client contracts and Equans objectives
5. To review and continuously improve these to meet changing requirements
6. Promoting/fostering a culture of continuous improvement whereby improvements to service delivery and commercial value are identified and implemented
7. Ensure effective working relationships with internal and external customers to maximise operational excellence and growth opportunity
8. Lead and direct the contract team to ensure we operate a performance culture, improvement and retention and increased employee engagement
9. Ensure development of direct reports, and wider team, using regular reviews and training
10. Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe environment for all employees, the client and patients

Who are you?

22. Possesses extensive operational management experience
23. Has strong customer focus
24. Commercial experience
25. Technical bias
26. Has previously held P&L responsibility
27. Possesses proven people management experience
28. Has strong operational and performance management focus
29. Has strong communication skills
30. Is numerate and analytical and financially aware
31. Has strong planning and time management skills
32. Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
33. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the basic principles of M&E systems
34. Demonstrable abilities and clear experience in supplier contracts negotiation

This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
