Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their Team on Anglesey. Providing support to production management and craft personnel to deliver a variety of components and activities for the business.
To ensure that the site/company standards are maintained within your areas and support other teams with improving and maintaining theirs.
To work in conjunction with other members of the Craft team, organising and prioritising workloads of a routine nature daily
Key Responsibilities:
Working with Trumpf controlled systems, or have skills on other machinery which can be transferable to Trumpf (Amada, Bistronic, LVD, Edward Pearson)
Working with sheet metal in a manufacturing background with material ranging from 2mm to 25mm thickness and parts up to 4 metres in length
Interpretation of drawings for programming of CNC press brake to enable the fabrication of folded components
Takes responsibility for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
Construct detailed multi-fold programs to develop parts to match drawings
Operate press brake on existent programs, continuous improving them
Select the correct punches and dies for material spec/design and drawing requirements
Keep work area, including tools, machine surfaces clean always.
Supporting the Team Leader when required ensuring the team are focused on the priorities/work of the day and it is processed correctly
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company Health and Safety practices and procedures and to understand the importance of risks and methods associated within the departments
Maintain and cleaning of all work areas to a high standard of housekeeping including all tasks associated within the working area
To ensure 100% compliance to all standards set by the companies and other governing bodies
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written
Completion of relevant and correct documentations as required
PPE to be always worn without exception
Breaks to be taken in accordance with terms and conditions of the plant
To undertake any other duties as may reasonably be requested and are within their competence and experience
Environmental Policy
Shall participate in prescribed training programmes to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the Company Environmental Policy
Should make suggestions to improve and protect the environment within the site to the appropriate Manager or Supervisor concerned, or to the Environmental Co-Ordinator
Shall co-operate with the Company's recycling programmes
Shall co-operate with the Company's energy programme
Shall where, possible, reduce waste within their area of work
Health & Safety
Comply with all Company policies, site rules and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace and training of staff.
Personnel and Training
To attend a review with your Line Manager and to agree and take ownership of your training and development needs
Attend company and legislative training courses as requested
Maintain good client and colleague relationships Ensure that all written communication represent a professional image to customers, clients and staff.

Working hours 08.00 - 16.30 with half hour lunch Monday to Thursday
