Our client is a manufacturing business whos head office is based in Derbyshire. Due to expansion our client is now looking to recruit an experienced IT engineer to join their team.
As a business, our client outsources aproportion of their work to external IT support support business so this role will have a strong focus on both managing and developing relationships with these IT support vendors.
There will also be an opportunity to work on various cyber secuirty projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure smooth and efficient delivery of IT services across the group, with a focus on continuous improvement.
2. Lead IT operations functions in alignment with ITIL best practices, including incident, problem, change, and asset management.
3. Develop and execute a comprehensive IT operations strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
4. Oversee the management of IT systems, infrastructure, and service delivery to ensure high performance and minimal disruption.
5. Maintain compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and robust data security policies.
