Were looking for a People Partner- Operations to join our team on a contract role until end of May 2026. This role will be split between our Trentham and Denby sites, supporting operations across both locations. Job Description - The Role To ensure the effective delivery of HR operations in their area, meeting business needs in line with HR delivery model and Company policy. As a People Partner- Operations, you will be responsible for: Providing effective HR support to local business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes. Working with line managers and employees to resolve problems in areas beyond HRSSC remit e.g. where face-to-face support or knowledge of the local business context is required. Having prime responsibility for local deployment of Company HR processes such as Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys and deployment of Diversity & Inclusion plans. Providing effective employee relations and a positive working climate locally, closely working with union representatives, line management and liaising with Regional ER team where necessary Providing employee/workforce development by directing line-managers to appropriate learning solutions or by identifying new learning needs to Learning Services. Advise and guideline managers on their HR responsibilities, management behaviours and team management. What we require from the candidate: Broad HR experience. In depth knowledge of the HR function and its capability to support business objectives. Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Reward, Resourcing, Development and Employment Law. Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills. Strong customer service orientation. Collaborative approach and proven track record of excellent teamwork with senior peers. Broad change management skill set, combined with ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change.
