Astor Media is recruiting a business development manager to sell across its automotive publishing portfolio.
This is a full-time, permanent role focused primarily on new business. You will be responsible for generating, building and closing your own pipeline across Astor Media’s automotive titles, selling digital advertising, events and integrated commercial partnerships. You will be expected to hunt for opportunities, open doors, secure meetings, attend industry events around the UK and consistently convert activity into revenue.
This role is for someone who backs themselves. You must be comfortable prospecting, pushing conversations forward and closing deals. While you will be part of a wider sales team, day-to-day success depends on self-motivation, drive and ownership of results. This is not an account-only or inbound role.
A proven track record in B2B sales is essential. Media sales or automotive sector experience would be an advantage, but is not required. Hunger, resilience and the ability to build and close business matter more than background.
The role is hybrid, with flexible working between home and the Maidstone office. Travel to industry events and client meetings is expected.
Commission is uncapped, with strong earning potential for someone who consistently builds and closes pipeline.
