William Hopwood Surgery are currently looking for a full-time Quality & Improvement administrator to join our dynamic and evolving organisation. Previous experience of working in a busy general practice environment is preferred.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team with opportunity to bring in their own initiatives and ideas
* To work with the Practice Leadership team to identify, implement and review the systems within the Practice, to improve patient outcomes and maximise quality outcome points.
To utilise Practice and patient data to improve performance and assist the Practice in meeting targets and improving the provision of health to the Practice population.
Main duties of the job
Promote national, local and practice quality standards forchronic disease management, to ensure that the quality of care is maintained ata high standard using NICE guidance and the existing GP contract as a guide.
Work with senior leadership team to develop strategies forimproving patient outcomes and maximising income for the Practice using QoF andenhanced services both local and national like IIF,QI,LES.
Utilise available data and quality improvement strategy toidentify patients requiring long term condition and QoF reviews and ensure thisprocess runs efficiently.

Job responsibilities
Utilise available data and quality improvement strategy and ensure thisprocess runs efficiently by :
Supporting the Practice managerin the submission of all quality domains like QOF, LES, month end/year enddata.
* Running reports and invitingpatients in for their QOF, LES NHS health check appointments.
* Running monthly CQC searches,completing any action required and updating the monitoring spreadsheet,highlighting any issues to the senior management team.
* Supporting the Practice managerin the submission of month end/year end data.
* Supporting the Practice managerin PPA claims.
* Organising and recalling ofeligible patients for vaccination clinics/home visits.
* Proactively seek and implementa variety of quality and improvement projects, including those directed by thesenior leadership team.
* Assist and undertake clinical andadministrative audits
* Check and correct patient coding against business rulesfor GP contracts i.e: QOF/ QI/ IIF/ QOEST
* Work with clinical and non-clinical staff to improve theaccuracy of data input
* Organise and order vaccination and immunisation stock.
* Proactively seek and implement a variety of quality and improvement projects, including those directed by the senior leadership team including review significant events and complaints processes inline with Practice policy.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Level 6 in English and Maths
* A background of working in Primary care
* Strong understanding of quality and improvement tools like Qof / LES
* High levels of organisation
* Experience of working in a team ideally GP Practice
* An understanding of EMIS, including running clinical searches
* Evidence of being able to handle data
* Strong IT capability
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to prioritise and track own workload
* Ability to positively influence practice team members to work towards
* maximising achievements and set quality improvement goals
* Willingness to learn and be part of friendly Practice Team
* Being flexible to support other team members as and when needed
Experience
* Experience of working in primary care or GP Practice. Ability to run searches with understanding of EMIS
