Kintyre community is currently seeking an enthusiastic staff nurse to work within the Cardiac Nurse Service. The post holder would be responsible for the running of clinics and care of cardiac patients with support from the clinical nurse specialist. This would include working with patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, inherited cardiac conditions, arrhythmias, and cardiac surgery post op, and the nurse would also be involved in the cardiac rehabilitation of these patients. The staff nurse would support the cardiac nurse specialist with the education of staff and patients within this area, and would also cover clinics within Mid Argyll area.
Previous experience desirable but not essential.
Training would be provided in post.
