We’re looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join friendly and inclusive primary schools in Fareham. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, supporting those who may need extra help with their learning, communication, or confidence in the classroom. Your Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll: Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional learning needs. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Adapt resources and approaches to meet individual pupil needs. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in every child. Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to help pupils achieve their targets. What We’re Looking For A caring, patient, and resilient approach to working with children. Experience supporting pupils with SEN, such as autism (ASC), ADHD, or speech and language needs (desirable but not essential). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education. Relevant qualifications or school-based experience are beneficial but not required.
