Applications are invited for our Cardiology and General Medicine LAT 4 (Locum Appointment for Training) post. This post is available from 6 August 2025 to 4 August 2026 and is based at University Hospital Ayr.
The main duties of the post include senior support in our cardiology department and coronary care areas. There is also an out of hours commitment to the general medicine senior on call rota.
This posts hold educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will be recognized for training.
Applicants should have a satisfactory ARCP outcome from IMT Stage 1 (reflecting completion of training) or appropriate alternative certification.
Applicants may be eligible for excess travel and relocation expenses. Information regarding nationally agreed excess travel and relocation are contained in NHS Circular PCS(DD) 2010/8.
