Ipswich High School Address: Woolverstone, Ipswich, Suffolk IP9 1AZ Salary: Competitive renumeration Hours: Part time, 0.4 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) Contract: Permanent, required from 1 September 2026 Reference: 0785 Ipswich High School is looking for an exceptional, passionate and dynamic Dance Teacher. As the successful applicant, you will join a vibrant well-established dance department which enjoys an excellent reputation. The Dance department works closely with the other Performing Arts to create outstanding opportunities and experiences for our pupils. Dance is embedded within the KS3 (Key Stage 3) curriculum, and pupils can study Dance GCSE and A level. There are a wealth of dance and performing arts opportunities through our unrivalled enrichment provision and numerous opportunities for participation in performances and trips. We are seeking to appoint an individual who is excited by the opportunity to join this thriving department and who can teach Dance at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4). Prior experience of successfully teaching Dance at A-Level would be advantageous. About Ipswich High School Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 - 18.
