Job Purpose: One of my local government clients is looking for a dynamic and experienced Allocation and Verification Team Manager (PO5) to manage a key service ensuring fair and effective access to housing across the borough. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the development, coordination, and management of the Allocation and Verification Service * Ensure optimal use of housing stock in line with Lambeth Council policies and Part VI of the 1996 Housing Act * Manage medical assessments, new housing initiatives, and exceptions cases * Lead a high-performing team within the housing department, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance targets are met Requirements: * Significant experience managing housing allocation or verification services within a local authority setting * Strong working knowledge of Part VI of the 1996 Housing Act * Experience handling medical assessments, exceptions, and special housing cases * Enhanced DBS is required (ESSENTIAL) If interested in this role please send your CV to Lee-Jaun at Coyle Personnel Ltd
