Main Duties of the Role:
* Manage operational aspects of the Kitchen and ensure its success.
* Support the General Manager with managing the Kitchen Division, including controlling budgets, cost of goods, rota planning, and performance management.
* Develop and design new dishes and menus.
* Monitor portion sizes and waste to maintain COGs and profit margins.
* Oversee food administration, ensuring system compliance.
* Order stock, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and audit equipment and standards.
* Delegate tasks, lead, coach, and manage the team effectively.
* Control costs through proper stock ordering, minimizing wastage, and workload management.
* Ensure awareness of Licensing Laws in England, Scotland, and Wales (where applicable).
Key Requirements for the Role:
* Exceptional cooking skills.
* Efficiently manage a high-volume kitchen.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in creating environments that exceed customer expectations.
* Experience preparing menus across various cuisines is desirable.
