The role
Job Description
Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to join their Maritime Services team in Great Baddow or Cowes. This is a contracted role where you will be required to work onsite for 4 days a week over a 6-month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining electronics radar systems
- Conducting detailed hardware engineering tasks to support project deliverables
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals
- Analysing system requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Testing and validating electronic systems to guarantee performance and reliability
- Contributing to technical documentation and reporting for project updates
- Ensuring adherence to security protocols and standards
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Radar Systems
- Strong background in electronic systems engineering within the Defence & Security sector
- Proficiency in system design, development, and validation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
