Responsibilities
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all nursery areas, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
* Carrying out daily cleaning routines, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising
* Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies and notifying management when orders are needed
* Supporting with laundry and linen changes as required
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and infection control standards
* Helping keep our nursery environments warm, tidy, and welcoming
* Working closely with the wider team to uphold our high cleanliness standards
* Following all relevant policies and procedures for safeguarding and safety
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities role
* A proactive and reliable approach with excellent attention to detail
* Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently
* Understanding of basic health & safety and COSHH guidelines (training provided if needed)
* A warm, friendly attitude and team spirit – you’ll be a key part of the nursery community
* A willingness to complete any necessary training
