We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting advanced robotics and automation solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and problem-solving in the injection moulding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and commission robots and automation cells.
* Perform service work and preventative maintenance.
* Provide breakdown assistance onsite and via telephone.
* Program and test new installations; modify existing systems.
* Deliver onsite and remote customer training.
* Maintain accurate communication records and adhere to Health & Safety standards.
* Support additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
About You:
* Strong knowledge of the injection moulding industry and automation systems.
* Experience with robotics (electrical engineering bias preferred).
* PLC programming experience is an advantage.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify automation and robot issues.
* Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, Ireland, and to France for training.
