Role Description
The Assistant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Watford. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing team performance, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. You will support the General Manager in driving sales growth, training team members, and optimizing operational efficiencies. As a key team leader, you will inspire and motivate staff to embody the values of Popeyes® and create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for both employees and customers.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership skills, including team supervision, conflict resolution, and fostering collaboration within a diverse group.
* Operational expertise in restaurant or retail management, including experience in managing day-to-day operations, scheduling, and meeting business targets.
* Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences and resolving customer concerns effectively.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards, food hygiene regulations, and compliance practices in the restaurant industry.
* Analytical and organizational skills to manage inventory, analyze performance metrics, and optimize processes.
* Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to embodying the Popeyes® values of diversity, authenticity, and inclusivity.
* Formal training or certifications related to restaurant management, food safety, or hospitality will be an advantage.
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
