We are working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland’s leading commercial law firms to recruit a skilled and motivated Legal Secretary to join their high-performing commercial litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and highly respected legal practice, known for its exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.
The Role
As a legal secretary within the commercial litigation department, you will provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to a team of litigation solicitors.
Your duties will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the team and will include:
* Preparation of court bundles, pleadings, and correspondence
* Diary management and coordination of meetings and court dates
* Digital dictation and document production
* Filing, photocopying, and general document management
* Liaising with clients, counsel, and court offices
* Assisting with legal billing and file management in line with compliance procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within litigation or a commercial legal environment
* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and fast-paced team
