The University of Lincoln is seeking a GPhC registered pharmacist who is innovative and dynamic to lead the development of our Pharmacy education programs. As the Director of Pharmacy Education, you will join a strong School Leadership Team and collaborate with colleagues from across the health and social care professions as well as external stakeholders. Your role will be to shape and lead the future development of the Pharmacy portfolio within the University and to ensure our Pharmacy programmes deliver an exceptional student experience and develop research-curious, and work-ready graduates. Establishing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with practice partners in the healthcare sector is paramount.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced pharmacy educator with demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and motivational skills. You should possess the ability to implement new ideas and excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. Your collaborative efforts will shape our pharmacy programs and placement provisions to ensure alignment with the new standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists. We seek a strong educationalist who is a creative thinker, collaborator, and team player. You will facilitate and support our staff in challenging their thinking and fostering innovation. Adaptability, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
The appointment will be made at either the Associate Professor or Professor level, commensurate with the successful candidate's experience and profile within the field of pharmacy education and ability to meet the Professorial criteria. Regardless of the level, we seek individuals who can contribute to the University's mission of delivering exceptional pharmacy education, fostering a dynamic learning environment and provide coherent, collaborative leadership for University of Lincoln pharmacy.
