We require a temporary Stock Controller to work with our client within their Supplies Department, in this role you will be supporting the team and helping manage the receipt, storage and distribution of goods, making sure essential supplies are available when needed. There will also be administrative support required in the department maintaining accurate stock records and PPE records
Job Description:
1. To assist with the day-to-day running of the department
2. Receiving, checking, recording, and storing incoming goods
3. Issue stock items and PPE to staff, ensuring accurate documentation
4. Prepare and deliver goods to various sites as required
5. Maintain stock areas and ensure items are stored safely and appropriately
6. Update and maintain electronic stock control and PPE systems
7. Process purchase orders, invoices, and supplier enquiries
8. Support with any other duties aligned to the role
Candidate Requirements:
9. A good general education and experience in stock control or warehousing
10. Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
11. Experience using electronic stock control systems
12. A clean, current driving licence
13. Basic knowledge of sewing machinery and PPE fitting would be an advantage
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
Salary: £13.09 Per Hour
