Property Manager – Mighty Student Living
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Property Manager to join our friendly student lettings team. If you're organised, people-focused, and ready to play a key role in managing a fast-growing portfolio of student accommodation, we'd love to hear from you.
About Mighty Student Living
Mighty Student Living is Lancaster's largest dedicated student lettings agency. We specialise in providing quality accommodation and approachable service to both students and landlords. With a strong reputation in the local market and a growing portfolio, we work hard to make renting as smooth and stress-free as possible.
The Role
You'll be part of a small, supportive team looking after student homes across the city. The role is varied and fast-paced, with a focus on property management, inspections, and clear, friendly communication with tenants and landlords.
Previous property management experience is helpful but not essential. If you have worked in administration, customer service, or a busy office environment—and you're confident with IT systems—you'll fit in well. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of student properties on behalf of landlords
* Arranging and conducting property viewings and virtual tours
* Carrying out routine inspections and organising visits with tenants
* Responding to enquiries by phone, email, and in person
* Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and deposit returns
* Advertising properties and taking marketing photographs
* Coordinating maintenance and keeping landlords/tenants updated
* Processing applications, reference checks, and tenancy paperwork
* Building strong, professional relationships with tenants and landlords
What We're Looking For
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Friendly, professional communication style
* Good IT skills and confidence with software (training provided)
* Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
* Previous lettings or property management experience is desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (mileage paid)
The Details
* Full-time, permanent role
* Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (with one 5:30pm finish each week)
* Saturdays on rota (with a day off in lieu), usually 1 in 4
* Based in Lancaster, with local travel required
What You'll Get
* Salary £24,000 - £27,000, dependent on experience
* Performance-related bonus scheme
* Staff discount at a popular city-centre bar and restaurant
* Fully funded sector-specific qualifications
* 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and staff discounts platform
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing to 33 with service
* Free on-site parking
* Genuine opportunities for progression in a growing, local business
