About the Role
As our Beauty Merchandiser, you will play an integral role in shaping the success of the category. You will:
* Manage ordering and stock levels across the full beauty brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with sales demand, budgets, and business strategy.
* Maintain forward forecasting on the WSSI, supporting the Merchandising Manager with financial planning and strategic analysis.
* Lead brand strategy meetings, presenting analytical insights, category performance, and growth opportunities.
* Plan and forecast NPD launches, ensuring readiness and strong commercial outcomes.
* Partner with the Buyer to drive range reviews, optimising assortment and balancing opportunity against terminal stock risk.
* Oversee stock management including replenishment, transfers, allocations, returns, and PAR levels.
* Manage new product and brand setup, ensuring all pricing, margin, and hierarchy data is accurate.
* Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and stores to ensure smooth stock flow.
* Produce regular sales and stock reporting, while running your own analysis to drive brand and category performance.
* Identify bestsellers, emerging trends, and stock risks, presenting updates in weekly trade meetings.
* Plan seasonal sale markdowns, negotiate supplier funding, and implement system changes.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including DC, Finance, Stores, Online, and Marketing.
* Lead, develop, and mentor the Junior Merchandiser, supporting their growth and day-to-day workload.

* Do you have at least 5 years’ experience in merchandising?
* Are you highly organised with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail?
* Do you excel in Excel, administrative management, and retail analytical systems?
* Do you communicate with clarity, confidence, and professionalism?
* Are you passionate about beauty, luxury retail, and delivering excellence?
