Veterinary Surgeon West Midlands, UK – Up to £65,000 An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, multi-site small animal practice in the West Midlands. Offering a varied caseload, excellent facilities, and a supportive team environment, this role is ideal for a vet who enjoys a mix of consults and routine surgery within a branch setting. The Role Full-time (up to 40 hours) or part-time considered 1 in 10 full weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 1 in 5 Saturdays with time off in lieu Mix of consultations and routine surgical procedures Based across local branches with strong team support No out-of-hours (dedicated night team in place) Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality first opinion veterinary care Carry out consultations, routine surgery, and dentistry Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues Work collaboratively with RVNs, PCAs, and support teams Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture About the Practice Large, well-established small animal hospital group 24-hour care with a dedicated OOH team Highly experienced team including multiple certificate holders Excellent facilities including CT, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental suite, and in-house lab Strong focus on clinical standards, development, and progression Supportive network with access to referral-level expertise Requirements RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon Confident in all areas of first opinion practice Comfortable with routine surgery and medicine Dentistry experience desirable Strong team player with excellent communication skills Salary & Benefits Salary up to £65,000 DOE 5 weeks holiday bank holidays birthday leave CPD support with funded opportunities and certificates encouraged RCVS and VDS fees paid Pension scheme Life assurance Enhanced family leave Relocation/Visa support available If you're looking for a supportive, well-equipped environment where you can develop your skills and enjoy a varied caseload, this could be the perfect next step.
