We're partnered with an award-winning, legal 500 ranked law firm who are looking for a Property Paralegal to join my clients Property team, based in Leeds. This role is the perfect opportunity to progress a career in property law and gain excellent exposure to a broad range of work in a busy and friendly team.
Responsibilities include:
* Identify titles at the Land Registry and obtain Official Copy Entries and documents.
* Perform title checks and property due diligence.
* Conduct and review property searches.
* Obtain documents from Local Authorities and third parties.
* Chase clients and third parties for outstanding items.
* Carry out pre-completion Land Registry searches.
* Handle post-completion matters.
* Review title registers and plans for Deeds of Variation.
* Obtain and identify relevant documents for Deeds of Variation.
* Liaise with Councils and third parties, chasing responses and addressing queries.
* Draft planning application forms, deeds, and covering letters.
* Provide progress reports to Clients, Partners, and Solicitors.
* Support the organisation, monitoring, and delivery of significant team transactions.
* Provide cover and support for other paralegals as required.
* Meet set targets.
* Adhere to department procedures, Solicitors' accounts rules, and firm policies.
* Undertake duties relevant to the Paralegal role, including adapting to new systems and technology.
What we need from you:
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of DMS (Document management system).
* Previous Conveyancing/Property/ Real Estate experience in a legal setting.
