The Post :
One of the Government's main priorities is to ensure that all forms of homelessness and rough sleeping is reduced. At Brent Council, we are very committed and passionate about this. We have received funding from Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government for support workers posts working with rough sleepers in a new supported accommodation, providing a client centred approach recovering from entrenched rough sleeping. The post holders will work on a shift basis providing support for this cohort, working in a person-centred way to ensure sustainable outcomes around housing are achieved
The Person:

We are looking for an exceptional team player who has the skills and qualities that are needed to support, transform, and rebuild the lives of men with complex needs who have been sleeping rough for a long period of time.
As part of our expanded Rough Sleepers Team, you will engage positively and persistently with rough sleepers to build their trust and help them to obtain housing suited to their needs. To meet the requirements of this exciting role, you will have a passion for collaborative multi-agency working, you will be an adept problem solver and you will have a proven ability to inspire and motivate people. You will also have experience assessing the needs of individuals risk assessment and risk management plans including in relation to safeguarding.
