DHL Supply Chain's Real Estate Solutions (RES) is changing the way DHL's customers locate and design their warehouses to maximize supply chain effectiveness. RES is the real estate investment and development business of DHL Supply Chain, outpacing our competitors in both development and logistics industries alike in 20 countries. As the world leader in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) we combine DHL's operational know-how and customer supply chain insights with our real estate development and capital markets expertise. What does the Real Estate Solutions Commercialisation Manager do? You will be responsible for maximising the income contribution of deals through the execution of commercialisation and finance support for DHL Supply Chain and our customers. You will manage the front-end process of transactions through underwriting and project approvals and managing the BCA (Business Case Analysis) process. You will also hold financial responsibilities in the role including cost analysis, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and invoicing. Does this sound like something of interest? Lead all commercialization activities to ensure all pricing, timelines, and projects are fully aligned with the business from award to completion Ensure RES deal structures and pricing is consistent with operational commercial agreements considering all elements of operations Obtain and analyse market research to determine factors including supply & demand, market rent, vacancy, and absorption Manage the Early Warning and Investment Committee process for all UKI RES projects Manage the Business Case Analysis submittal/approval process with regards to RES projects in the UKI Collaborate with the other regions on best practices Manage construction contract approvals and draw up approvals for projects What are the financial duties? Manage and approve all cost analysis and financial modelling to be presented to the business and external stakeholders (including customers, brokers and investors) Manage RES department budgeting and forecasting EBIT and Revenue forecasting for RES projects Coordinate with Capital Markets on financial modelling Manage all invoicing, accounts payable, reconciliations, Pro-Rep reporting, etc. Working with finance, accounting, tax, and treasury departments in fulfilling project, asset, and other real estate initiatives What do we need from you? It is essential that you have prior Real Estate experience for this vacancy and prior exposure to commercial finance, financial controlling or business finance experience. You will also ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or other business-related function. What you'll need to do next?
