Tax Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a leading practice in Reading, offering exposure to varied clients and high-value advisory work.
The Role
You’ll manage a diverse portfolio while supporting partners with strategic advisory projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing compliance for a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
* Reviewing complex tax computations and returns
* Delivering advisory services covering restructuring, tax planning, IHT, CGT, and business transactions
* Handling HMRC enquiries and external correspondence
* Supporting and mentoring junior tax team members
* Contributing to business development and client proposals
* Ensuring technical quality across all work
About You
You will:
* Be CTA qualified, or ACA/ACCA with strong tax experience
* Have demonstrated experience delivering tax work in a UK practice
* Be comfortable managing multiple engagements and deadlines
* Have strong communication skills and an advisory mindset
* Be ambitious, proactive, and committed to professional growth
