Overview
We have an opportunity for a part‑time (3 days, 21.6 h/week) registered pharmacist to join the pharmacotherapy teams across the Aberdeenshire Kincardine & Mearns cluster, covering GP practices and community hospitals in Inverbervie, Laurencekirk, Portlethen and Stonehaven. The role offers onsite working in GP practices and/or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area.
Responsibilities
* Provide the pharmacotherapy service across the cluster, ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective prescribing of medicines.
* Support GP practices and community hospitals in all aspects of medicines management, in line with local and national guidelines.
* Participate in medicines audit and quality improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
* Registered pharmacist with a community or hospital pharmacy background.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
* Experience working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit (advantageous).
* Independent Prescriber qualification is an advantage.
* Full driving licence essential.
