Location: Swansea Salary: £30,485 - Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97% Contract Type: Permanent – Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time We are seeking a motivated Project Support Officer to join DVLA’s Estates Services team in a key role supporting hard facility management services and the delivery of life cycle replacement (LCR) and capital expenditure (capex) projects across the estate. This diverse and fast-paced role requires initiative, self-motivation, and a flexible approach. You will provide vital support and guidance to change initiatives within the Estates environment. The successful candidate will confidently manage a varied workload and provide support in areas such as project finances, planning, and risk management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Co-ordinating and carrying out regular monitoring/audit activities of services provided by the PFI provider and in-house service teams for DVLA buildings in accordance with the established KPI scheme and reporting areas of poor performance and non-compliance. * Providing support to the property manager in the preparation of Heads of Terms for licences and lease agreements. Attending monthly property meetings when required. * Supporting Project Manager on capex works, reporting progress against plan, risks changes, dependencies and mitigating actions. * Providing support to the LCR project delivery and hard services team by assisting in checking delivery against agreed specification. Essential qualifications/licences: 1. A full valid UK driving licence 2.
