We're looking for a Deputy Head of Legal to play a key role in managing the legal function, ensuring compliance, and supporting critical business operations. You'll work closely with the Head of Legal, overseeing contract management, corporate structuring, IP protection, regulatory compliance, and litigation support.
You'll be a part of the top quantitative trading companies with HQ in Dubai. This is an opportunity to lead complex legal projects, shape company policies, and guide the business through evolving legal landscapes across multiple jurisdictions.
What will you do in this role?
* Support and back up the Head of Legal in managing day-to-day legal operations.
* Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Handle corporate structuring, statutory licensing, and regulatory inquiries.
* Lead cross-functional legal projects, ensuring alignment with business & regulatory timelines.
* Provide legal guidance on litigation, governance, and risk management.
* Develop and implement key legal policies & procedures.
* Monitor & interpret regulatory changes across jurisdictions, advising teams on business impact.
About you:
* Law degree from an accredited institution.
* 10+ years of experience in corporate legal roles.
* Strong expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent negotiation, communication & stakeholder management skills.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously & lead legal initiatives.
