Nursery Teacher
Location: Newham, Plaistow
Salary: £75 - £100 per morning (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term
Hours: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday
GSL Education’s London Branch is currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming team at a mainstream primary school in Newham, Plaistow. If you have a passion for early years education and nurturing young learners, this could be the ideal role for you!
About the Role:
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children in their early years. You will create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school setting.
Responsibilities for a Nursery Teacher:
* Deliver creative and age-appropriate lessons for Nursery pupils.
* Plan and prepare activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Previous experience teaching in a Nursery setting.
* Relevant teaching qualifications for Nursery education.
* Ability to provide professional references.
* Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach.
