Role overview:
Reporting to the Bioresources Treatment Manager, as a Bioresources Technician, you will ensure Water Recycling treatment processes and systems are serviced and maintained for effective and efficient operation, meeting regulatory standards such as H&S, HACCP, and Compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out safety checks on boilers and implementing actions from Compliance Action Plans
* Investigating issues and promoting corrective actions, maintaining equipment, and monitoring contractor work on wastewater assets
* Conducting condition-based monitoring and reporting on asset condition
* Communicating across the site team about operations and safety equipment inspections, including legionella testing, gas, electricity, emergency lighting
Requirements:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in operational roles; sewerage environment experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills
* Proactive, flexible, and willing to learn
* Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools; training provided for internal systems
* Full driving license
