We are partnering with a well-established organisation to appoint a Financial Systems Analyst into their Glasgow-based team. This is a key role supporting core finance platforms, ensuring data integrity, compliance and continuous improvement across financial operations.
This position would suit someone with a grounding in finance who enjoys systems, problem solving and driving process improvement.
The opportunity
You will:
Support the lifecycle management of core financial systems including M3 CloudSuite, Basware and Tagetik
Manage incidents and service requests in line with agreed service levels and ITIL best practice
Investigate recurring issues and implement long term, sustainable fixes
Support automation and AI driven process improvements
Ensure adherence to change management and security protocols
Partner with finance stakeholders to identify and deliver system enhancements
Provide user support, documentation and training materials
Ensure systems remain compliant with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
About you
Understanding of accounting principles, either through study or practical finance experience
Experience with M3 CloudSuite, Basware or Tagetik
Strong analytical and problem solving capability
Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
Experience in a service desk or customer focused environment advantageous
Exposure to process automation tools beneficial but not essential
Degree qualified preferred, ideally within Finance, Accountancy or IT
Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a relevant role
