We are pleased to offer a full-time position for a dedicated and passionate music teacher providing one to one lessons in our studios (one location, no need to travel).
Below are the key details of the role: Schedule: 5 days a week Hours: 28–34 hours per week Hourly Rate: £20.00 Option to conduct extra lessons during holidays for additional income Additional Earning Opportunities: Accompanying students in singing and violin grade exams (piano accompaniment) (additional £300-£600 income during exam time) We are looking for a teacher who wants to make teaching a lifelong career and a long term commitment to our music school.
We require the following: A) Teach the following subjects on a one to one lesson basis, we require a teacher to be able to teach both subjects.
B) Piano up to grade 5, Violin up to grade 8 C) Music Theory up to Grade 5 D) Able to prepare students for the following grades: 1) ABRSM 2) TRINITY E) Take part in and help with our school performances and shows F) Has one year of teaching experience with young children and adults G) Can provide at least one reference H) A valid DBS certificate (disclosure of barring Service) I) Can show proof of right to work in the UK (National Insurance Number) J) Has Public Liability Insurance (if successful the school can show you how to apply for this and is usually £100
