Job Title:Computer Aided Design (CAD) Tutor
Location:York - Centre based
Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Type:Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
* Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in CAD or Engineering Design (or equivalent).
* Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 5 teaching qualification (DTLLS/DET or equivalent/above)
* Must be proficient in CAD software and engineering design.
* Experience of delivering CAD instruction.
Duties include:
* Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Computer Aided Design (CAD), focussing on engineering concepts to learners undertaking Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
* Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
* Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.

* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
