Position: Service Lead
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Full Time
What you’ll do
As Service Lead, you’ll be the operations lead for your store’s Service Centre and the person ultimately responsible for workflow, staffing of mechanics, and KPIs to ensure every customer has the best experience.
You’ll be the primary service advisor, integrating sales and service, while holding your team accountable for delivering Trek’s signature hospitality. You need to be a great communicator and leader who can motivate your colleagues.
Your responsibilities include training your team, engaging with customers to recommend the right service at the right time, managing service costs, organizing service orders, maintaining a clean and efficient department, and ensuring bikes are built and delivered correctly. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will manage all communication from the Service Department to customers and write over 50% of the work orders.
This role suits someone with high energy and a continuous learning mindset who can see both the big picture and details. You will develop your employees, review service reports for efficiencies, and anticipate shop needs to set up both service and sales for success.

* Effective planning skills to stay ahead of shop needs.
* At least 3 years of bicycle Service Centre experience.
* A commitment to providing the best customer experience.
* A proactive approach to industry trends and updates.
