Duties will be in the neonatal department on the Tier 2 rota.
There will be a mixture of long day/night shifts and shorter day shifts. Duties will be divided between Intensive/High Dependency Care, Special and Transitional Care, and the care of infants on the post-natal wards.
Duties will be shared with resident trainees [ST3-8] and Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. Supervision and education will be provided by Consultants.
The selected candidate will work as part of the Tier Two rota within NICU and will be responsible for:
1. Clinical care of patients
2. Recording notes (including Badger)
3. Communication with parents and colleagues
4. All other responsibilities of a resident doctor in the department
